Mount window

Click “Mount” tab on WinMount main window, go to mount window which is used for mounting files.

Browser window

Click “Browser” tab on WinMount main window, go to browser window which is used for browsing, compressing and decompressing.

The new version uses a new interface and operation mode.

1)      Mount window and browser window can be switched by tab, replaced the drop down menu.
2)      The single window “Make compressed file” is named “Advance compression”, you can find it on browser toolbar.

 The new version can mount archive in archive, you can open archive in browser first, then mount the archive inside by double-click, of course the format should be associated with “Mount new drive” before mount. Click “Option -> Options” on WinMount main menu; Pop-up “WinMount options” dialog, click “General” tab, tick the archive format, select “Mount new drive” on drop-down menu.

Update:

1.  Quick mount ZIP to current path as a virtual folder.
2.  Skip indexing process while mounting, fastened ZIP mounting speed.
3.  Add word wrapped property to comment displaying window.
4.  Support create ISO image from WinMount virtual drive.
5.  Fixed other bugs.

How to quick mount?

1) Right click a ZIP file, click “Quick mount”.
2) Refresh the window.
3) ZIP virtual folder appeared. User can use ZIP as folder.

1. Write-back to MOU. Let you modify MOU virtual drive and save the modification.  When unmount MOU virtual drive, choose “yes” if you want to save the modification.

2. Create ISO from CD/DVD Rom. Open compress mode, click “Compress” -> “Create ISO  from CD/DVD Rom”

3. Optimized the compression mode.
